The teacher will enter the classroom with a cheerful facial expression and wish the pupils. Then the teacher will write the topic on the blackboard as
“POLLUTION”  
Students will greet back to the teacher and note down the topic in their notebooks.

Then the teacher will say that we have learned about Pollution. Thus, we shall test the knowledge and understanding that we have acquired through the topic.  

Thereafter the teacher will ask the following questions:  

Q. What is pollution? (Teacher will say good/very good)    

Q. What do you mean by Pollutant? (The teacher will look at the students attentively.)  

Q. What are the different types of pollution? (Teacher will say “Yes” and appreciate the learner.)  

Q. Define air pollution? (Teacher will go and stand nearby the students.)  

Q. Give an example of an air pollutant. (Teacher will write the example on the board.)  

Q. What are the causes of air pollution? (Teacher will go nearby the students and give a touch to the student for the right answer.)  

Thereafter, the teacher will give two questions to answer to the students in the class. Then the teacher will check the answer of any students and ask the rest students to submit them after the class. (Teacher will appreciate the student whose work has been checked.)  
Students will listen attentively to the teacher.    

Pupils are expected to answer as follows:

(a) Presence or Introduction of harmful substances.  

(b) A substance that pollutes something.    

(c) Air, water, and soil pollution.      

(d) Introduction of harmful substances into the air.  

(d) Sulphur Dioxide      
(e) Industrialisation, Burning of Coal, etc.
