Entering the class with a smiling face, the teacher will re-arrange the classroom if necessary. In order to introduce the day’s lesson, the teacher will ask the following questions –  
What things do people use in ancient days to send a message?
Do you write letters to your elders?
If you write a letter to God, how will we send it?                          
Being satisfied with the student’s answer the teacher will ask what we can conclude from this.
The students will welcome the teacher and will try to give answers.

Announcement of the Topic:

After getting the expected responses the teacher will announce the topic and write it down on the blackboard.

The teacher will read the paragraph and translate it into Assamese. The teacher will give the word note on the blackboard and ask the students to note it down.  

In order to assess the student’s learning, the teacher will ask the following questions – Who is Lencho?    

The teacher will read the paragraph and translate it. He will give word notes on the board and ask the students to write them down.  

In order to assess the student’s learning, the teacher will ask the following questions –
Why did Lencho want to write a letter to God?
How much does he have faith in God?  

The teacher will read the paragraph and translate it and explain it.

After that, he will give some word notes of the paragraph.  

In order to evaluate he will ask the following questions –
How much money does Lencho seek from God?
Why did the men of the post office laugh at Lencho?    

The teacher will read the paragraph and explain it and translate it to Assamese.

After that, he will ask the students to read the paragraph and write some word notes of the paragraph.  

To evaluate the students the teacher will ask –
Why did the postmaster want to see Lencho?
Why did the postmaster give money to Lencho?    
The students will note down and read the paragraph.      

The students will try to give the answers.      

The students will listen carefully and write down the word notes.
